Come to an Information Session

Every January, we hold an Information Session for interested parents and tutors. This is a great chance to meet current families and staff and have your questions answered. We release the date and open registrations in early November and strongly encourage any interested families to start here. After the Information Session, we have a series of touring days, so families who are interested in applying for the following September can visit the centre.

About the application process

1 Submit an application

Once you have attended the Information Session and subsequent touring day, you can submit an online application. There is a £200 application fee, deducted from your first year's fees.

2 The family interview

After receiving your application, we will contact you to schedule a family interview.

A hybrid education relies on collaboration between tutors and parents, and these interviews allow us to see if RCA will be a good fit for you and your family. It is also a good opportunity for us to find out a little more about the children that might be joining RCA.

3 Acceptance and assessments

After the family interview, you will receive notice of acceptance and whether there is space for your child/children in their respective grade levels.

If so, they will take some assessments during the summer, to make sure they are best placed to succeed when they join.

Applying for a mid-year start

The majority of our families start at the beginning of the academic year, but if you're interested in starting in the Spring or Summer term, please just get in touch and we will try to accommodate wherever possible.

Academy fees

Fees are a little over £3,000 per child annually, with our youngest class being slightly less and the older grades being slightly more. This fee allows us to pay our tutors a just wage and to cover our rent and administrative costs.

The fees for the third child of a family are 50% off and the fourth and subsequent children are not charged fees. This helps larger families to be able to access our form of hybrid education whilst at the same time being able to properly pay our excellent tutors.

In addition to the Academy fees, parents are also responsible for purchasing books and uniforms for their children.

Apply for 2024-2025

If you would like to enrol your children, please make your family application here; we’ll review it and get back to you with next steps.
