Meppershall Village Hall has been a wonderful facility for us, transforming into our academy for two days a week in term times. It has everything that we need, including a lovely outdoor space, playground and field.
Fr. Armand de Malleray, our chaplain, also acts as the spiritual director to the board of trustees. As chaplain, he says Mass for us once a month, hears confessions, trains our altar servers, and helps us to celebrate the major feast days of the Church’s year.
Fr de Malleray is a member of the Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP) and he celebrates our Masses in the Old Rite.
We are so grateful to Fr. de Malleray for his ministry to our students and staff; his presence truly helps to embed the rhythms of grace into our everyday life at RCA UK.
Fr de Malleray comes from a large Catholic family and has experience in youth apostolate and catechism. He said: “I am delighted to have been appointed chaplain of RCA Bedford and to assist so many generous parents and dedicated staff in the Catholic upbringing of their children, God’s little ones.”
