Maria gained her B.Ed. Hons at Hertfordshire University and has been teaching in primary schools since 2008. Since 2012, she has also been tutoring privately as well as home educating her children.
She is wife to Peter and mother to 4 children. They like to live simply but fully, appreciating richness in nature and people more than material things.
"Getting wrapped up and venturing in our local woods 'just us' or with friends and family on a Sunday afternoon is our favourite activity!"
They are excited for the new adventures Regina Caeli U.K. will offer their family and Catholic community.
Sarah gained her B.Ed. Hons. at Birmingham University and has been teaching for 17 years in various primary schools. During that time, she has gained extensive experience in teaching all age groups within the primary phase and developed a specialism in teaching the early years. She has worked in the pro-life movement for the past 6 years and is a Co-Director of March for Life UK. She has been actively involved in her parish and has taught children’s liturgy, been a catechist for the Sacraments of Initiation and part of various evangelisation projects.
She is married to Ben and has three young adopted children. This year, she and her eldest son began her home schooling journey together and they are relishing the challenges that each day brings. They are very excited to start Regina Caeli U.K. as a family and to be part of a supportive Catholic community. In their spare time they enjoy being together as a family and love to be outdoors.
Claire homeschooled her six children until her eldest chose to go to school two years ago at the age of 15. Her four eldest are now at Ampleforth College, York. She is a qualified secondary school English teacher and has taught in schools on and off for over twenty years; for the past two years she has taught English at Bedford Girls’ School. She read English at Hertford College, Oxford, followed by an MSc in Research Methods in Education and a PGCE at the Oxford University Department for Education. She is currently studying for her PhD at the Institute of Education, University College London in Parental Choice of Faith Schooling. She is excited to join Regina Caeli U.K. and is very happy that her two youngest children will benefit from this wonderful venture.
Bruna is from Brazil and moved here 4 years ago. She was a P.E and dance teacher in Brazil from 2010, working in many schools with different ages and has worked as a Teaching Assistant since arriving in England. She met her husband James while working at preparations for World Youth Day in Rio de Janeiro in 2013. They have a daughter and can’t wait for her to be old enough to join the Regina Caeli U.K. family!
