

Mrs. Maria Jones
Tutor and Centre Coordinator
Maria gained her B.Ed. Hons at Hertfordshire University and has been teaching in primary schools since 2008. Since 2012, she has also been tutoring privately as well as home educating her children.
She is wife to Peter, with whom she runs the One of Nine YouTube Channel, and mother to six children. They like to live simply but fully, appreciating richness in nature and people more than material things.

Mrs. Isabelle Lubbock
Tutor and Curriculum Coordinator
Isabelle was born in France and studied there until obtaining her masters in British history from the Université Paris VII. She moved to the UK in 2008 to teach French to undergraduates at Nottingham University, then went on to get her PGCE from the same institution. She has been teaching ever since, in secondary schools, at Nottingham University and as a private tutor, spanning a wide age range and many subjects. She was also studying for a PhD uniting history and children’s literature until babies changed her priorities; now, as well as a Tutor, she oversees the curriculum development for RCA U.K.
Isabelle and her husband have four children. She is an avid reader and loves nothing more than talking and sharing about books and ideas – maybe apart from roaming the countryside with her family.

Mrs. Saumya Thomas
Tutor
Saumya is from Germany and moved to the UK ten years ago. She has a master’s degree in theology from the Jesuit College for Philosophy and Theology, Frankfurt. She started her career in teaching in 2009 alongside pursuing a PhD in Pastoral Theology. Saumya has experience of teaching RE and providing private German & eleven-plus tuition.
For over 15 years Saumya has been involved and held various offices in Jesus Youth - an international Catholic movement approved by the Holy See. In this capacity, she has been part of organizing various evangelization initiatives for children, youth and families, such as trainings, retreats and conferences in the UK and in various countries in Europe. She has been a catechist in the parish for many years and has also worked as parish-based youth worker for the Northampton Diocese.
She is married to Abhy and has four young children. They've always had the vision of belonging to a Catholic family community and are delighted to have found this through Regina Caeli U.K. In her free time Saumya enjoys doing arts & crafts, music, dance and being outdoors.

Mrs. Patricia Rafferty
Tutor
Patricia was born and raised in South Africa, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in English and History, followed by a PGCE to become a teacher, training at Christian Brothers’ College in Pretoria. While living in South Africa, she was a catechist for 8 years, sparking her interest in apologetics and defending the Faith.
She started working in the UK as a teacher in 2007, mostly doing long-term supply teaching around the South East of England. She has been married to Liam since 2008; they have three children and live in Cambridgeshire. She is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with her children doing things like baking, arts and crafts, as well as occasional rambles in the woods with their two dogs.

Mrs. Bruna Kelliher
Tutor Assistant
Bruna is from Brazil and moved here five years ago. She was a P.E. and dance teacher in from 2010, working in many schools with different ages and has worked as a Teaching Assistant since arriving in England. She met her husband James while working at preparations for World Youth Day in Rio de Janeiro in 2013. They have a daughter and are delighted she is now old enough to join the Regina Caeli U.K. family!

Mrs. Rosemary Cephas
Tutor Assistant
Rosemary moved to the UK ten years ago from India, where she gained a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy and worked as a physiotherapist. After moving to the UK, she completed a course in IT and worked as automation test analyst for many years. She was also studying for a Masters until her priority changed to homeschooling.
She and her husband have two children and love travelling with their family and exploring the UK. They recently moved to Bedfordshire and feel blessed to be part of this wonderful Catholic community and education system.


Mrs. Chantelle Vooght
Tutor
Chantelle gained a Psychology BSc degree with First Class Honours and from there went on to pursue a career in market research. After having her first two children, Chantelle took a step back from the workplace to focus on raising her family. Being a recent convert to the Catholic faith, she is keen to contribute to the Catholic community and is excited to be part of the Regina Caeli U.K. family.
Mrs. Barbara Kay
Centre Assistant
Barbara is married to Martin and is the mother of three adult children. She is a graduate in French and German from Bedford College, London University and worked as a medical secretary in the National Health Service before retiring. Martin and Barbara have been part of the community at Christ the King Church, Bedford, for more than thirty years and Barbara is a member of the small choir and also the Northampton Diocese Representative of the Latin Mass Society. She loves nature and the countryside, is a life member of the National Trust and enjoys making cross-stitch greetings cards for family and friends. She is delighted to have joined the Regina Caeli family as its Centre Assistant.
